Shiva stood next to Arjun, his heart heavy with empathy for his friend, but his mind clear and resolute. He could see the storm of emotions swirling in Arjun’s eyes: pain, guilt, confusion. Arjun’s body was tense, his fists clenched, as if trying to hold on to the last shred of hope that Preethi would turn around, that everything could still be fixed.
