After getting discharged from the hospital, Arjun, Siddharth and Ishita came back home. Arjun paced around the living room, his eyes darting to the cabinet where he once stashed his alcohol. It had been days since his last drink, but the temptation gnawed at him constantly. His mind was a fog of regret, guilt, and self-loathing. He had been given a chance—Siddharth had arranged everything to save him from the consequences of his reckless behavior. All he had to do was lie in court. But the weight of that lie, the betrayal of his profession, haunted him.
Suddenly, in a fit of frustration, Arjun grabbed the remaining alcohol bottles from the cabinet and hurled them against the wall. Glass shattered everywhere, the sound echoing through the house like a scream.
